Your information, in plain words.
What we collect
Contractor accounts: email, business and license details, trades, service area, hours and any phone numbers you enter. Callers and website visitors: what you tell Sarah, such as your name, trade, ZIP code or city, and your number if you ask for a callback or link. Basic website usage and device information.
Why we use it
To run your desk, answer and summarize calls forwarded to it, show directory results, verify contractor licenses, and respond to requests you make. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.
Mobile numbers and permissions
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared, sold or rented to anyone. This excludes the phone and messaging providers that deliver our calls and texts.
Contact permission records
When you give permission for texts or AI calls, we keep a record of the number, the purpose, the wording you agreed to and the time. Withdrawals are recorded too. We keep these records to prove what was agreed and to honor your withdrawal.
AI conversations
Sarah and other concierges are AI assistants. Voice audio recording is turned off for Sarah. Conversation text may be kept by our voice service for up to seven days to operate the service.
Service providers
We use providers for hosting, sign-in, phone service and AI voice. They process information only to provide those services to us.
Public license records
The directory shows public California contractor license records alongside participating desks. These come from the state, are labeled as such, and are not endorsements.
Your choices
You can update your desk details or withdraw contact permissions on My desk at any time, reply STOP to any text, or ask us to delete your account.
